Furniture favorites: Chairish

I’ve mentioned Chairish before on here and thought I would show you some of my favorite finds today. Chairish is pretty amazing. Its a online vintage shop where many sellers re-sell great vintage and antique pieces in decent to like new condition. The prices are really great in comparison to other boutiques and shops too.

Charish Picks

First we have a simple rustic and solid coffee table. It has good lines, is modern and can work well in a number of spaces. I happen to like the different colors and the beautiful wood grains. Next a Grange Monet lounge chair painted black. I love rattan and wicker furniture for both indoors and outdoors because it adds texture to a space quite nicely. Plus the shape would make a great focal point in any room. The two school chairs come as a set and they are too cute. I would like to see these in a shared office space or as captain chairs in an eclectic dining space. Fourthly, the credenza. Its a faux bamboo and wicker so probably not the most solid thing in the world but boy is she pretty. I would like to see it painted white or a soft grey color to really make the wood details pop.

Next we have a gooooorgeous velour settee. This is probably my favorite out of all of these. Its very traditional but the design details are exquisite and I sort of like how the upholstery isn’t perfect. Its a vintage piece so it doesn’t have to look like new. That side table would be great in a Moroccan world traveler space. I love the cut outs and the hexagon shaped table top. For number 7 we have a good ole set of bamboo nesting tables. They’re a classic that is always a great addition to any home. I plan on finding a set someday. Next, a great MCM desk. This bad boy needs to get in my life. The gold drawer pulls are perfection and I can’t get enough of that color. Last, and certainly not least, the mid-century platform sofa. This is my second favorite. Not only is it one of my favorite sofa designs but that flame stitch , NOT chevron, flame stitch! fabric is so sweet. Flame stitch is what zig-zag and chevron patterns come from and its believed to be inspired by the great fire of London.

Anywho, to see more great vintage pieces please go check out Chairish for yourselves. You can find these pieces in the sources below. Comment on your favorites! Until next time.
